Located at the end of the Gunflint Trail, Chik-Wauk offers a special insight into the cultural and natural history of the Gunflint Trail, from prehistoric beginnings to the present. Visitors may tour exhibits depicting the early history of settlement along the Gunflint Trail, then explore a network of nature trails that criss-cross the 50 acres of museum grounds. Several times a week, the museum offers presentations on a variety of subjects from geology to local wildlife. Chik-Wauk is the perfect destination for folks of all ages who wish to learn more about the special place that is the Gunflint Trail.
