Item Description
Lunch or Dinner with artist David Dunleavy in Cape May, New Jersey
David Dunleavy is perhaps best known for his SeaLife Murals - Art in public places project, a monumental series of life-sized and larger than life murals that span along the Eastern Seaboard, the Bahamas Islands, and on the continent of Australia. It is estimated that over 500 million people a year view the SeaLife Murals. To make a difference, Dunleavy’s goal is to paint SeaLife Murals around the world to encourage people to help protect our ocean planet for future generations.
Today, Dunleavy’s art work is sought by thousands of collectors worldwide and he works in all mediums – acrylics, oils, watercolors, graphics and sculpture. He has many diverse styles from marine wild life, tropical landscapes to new age or modern art. Dunleavy has successfully pioneered an innovative movement called "Primal Art". Inspired by the etchings of prehistoric man, he uses elements of nature and pure pigments to create these distinctive fine art pieces.
Recognized by Ask Art, Dunleavy has achieved both critical acclaim and commercial success with his art. In addition to his well-publicized murals, he has also published over sixty Limited Edition Giclees. His art has graced many magazine covers, DVDs and has been featured in educational programs and on film.

Dunleavy is in partnership with The Ocean For Youth Foundation and his children's interactive arts program is active in teaching students become aware and informed stewards to have appreciation for our ocean planet. He supports many marine conservations organizations by donating original art for auctions.
His art can be seen in museum quality limited editions, embroidered and silk screened apparel, ceramic tile products and other gift products.
Item Special Note
Being auctioned is dinner or lunch with one the world’s foremost shark experts or celebrities. It is a unique opportunity to “talk shark” face-to-face, one-on-one, with a real authority on sharks.
How it works:
1. Bid on a celebrity, shark scientist or conservationist that lives or works in your area, unless you are willing to drive or fly to meet them in their area.
2. The winning bidder pays for the lunch or dinner and may bring as many guests as he or she wishes.
3. We will introduce the winning bidder to the celebrity, scientist or conservationist. The two of you then set a mutually agreeable date, time and place to meet within one year of the close of the auction.
All winning bids are charitable contributions deductible from US Federal 2013 income taxes. Funds raised by the auction will be used to support shark research and conservation programs.
