Item Description
Two Coins Celebrating Mining history
Jane Riley, a Summit County local and Park City Museum volunteer, thought it was time to honor the areas mining history by designing a commemorative coin. The second antiqued silver coin (which we have here at KPCW) features a young miner holding a pick axe and mountains in the background. On the backside of the coin is a loaded ore cart as well as the areas mining production dates. Two coins come in a beautiful wood display case to properly show off Park City’s mining history.
