Item Description
The Shattuck golf course in Jaffrey, New Hampshire, is an 18-hole championship facility at the foot of majestic Mt. Manadnock. The New England Journal of Golf Spring 2003 "Best of New England" edition listed The Shattuck as tied at Number 2 for Best New Hampshire Courses, tied at Number 1 as Best Value and tied for Number 5 as the Most Scenic Course. The Shattuck recently ranked the 43rd toughest of the top 50 toughest golf courses in the United States by Golf Digest Magazine in 2007. Course architect Brian Silva calls this "the most spectacular setting I've ever come across." (New England Golf Magazine, July/August 1991) Each hole is framed by forests of oak, birch and pine, shielding it from the view of other holes so you never feel crowded.
