Item Description
Pair of prints, "Before the Battle" and "After the Battle," signed and numbered in pencil, limited edition, Ken Schmidt 348/900. Metal frames. Before the Battle, also known as Dawn of the Greasy Grass, is said to show a Sioux warrior in a moment of preparation before the Battle of Bighorn.
Matched set of prints measure 18" high and 23" wide.
About the artist: Ken Schmidt is a full-time artist from upstate New York. Working mainly in watercolors and pencil, Ken has developed his own unique style portraying the Native American, the mountain man, and the cowboy. Ken travels the country photographing live models and scenery which he uses as the subjects and settings for his paintings and drawings.
