Item Description
According to John Gabcik from the Society of American Baseball Research, Council Bluffs is only the 6th and the last city in 150 years of Major League Baseball to produce two 20 game winners from the same high school, Abraham Lincoln High School. And, of the cities with two Major League teams, only Chicago has had a 20 game winner on both teams from the same town and the same High School. Stan Bahnsen won 21 games for the White Sox in 1972 and Jon Lieber won 20 for the Cubs in 2001. We have a baseball signed from each man along with the number of wins, the year, and the team, both in a custom baseball case with an engraved nameplate and Certificates of Authenticity on their signatures.
