Item Description
A stepping stone in memory of Bonsai the elephant in Kenya who was taken by poachers on June 9, 2013 in Buffalo Springs National Reserve, Kenya. All proceeds from this item go directly to Save the Elephants to help in their efforts to raise awareness and stop the ivory trade which unchecked, threatens African elephants to extinction within our lifetime. This stepping stone was made especially for Bonsai. Its base is a concrete pre-fab stone, but the ceramic tile pieces were hammered, cut, and arranged by hand, glued, and grouted. The stone weighs 20 pounds.
