Trevin Farms is a unique Bed and Breakfast that combines the warm, comfortable rooms of a Bed and Breakfast with the educational experience of a true Vermont Farmstay.
Enjoy a 2 night stay at Trevin Farms in Sudbury, VT. Includes 2 nights accommodations for 2 people, cheese making class, breakfast each morning and dinner for 2 on the second night.
Day One: After you return from dinner, we will explain the cheese making process and answer your questions. Starting with cooking the milk and setting the cheese, this class is informative, educational and fun. We will explain the benefits of Goats Milk over cows milk, the difference between goats milk and cows milk, the different cheeses that you can make with goats milk and where to get supplies to make your cheese at home.
Day Two: We will show you how to cut the curd and how the curd and the whey have separated and how to hang the cheese. Dinner is served on the second day of your stay. Dinner consists of a Salad, Dinner and Desert. We not only show you how to make goat cheese, buthow to use it in your cooking.
Day Three: We package some of the cheese to take home with you. Check out is 11:oo am
We offer a full Vermont Country Breakfast with our own Vermont Maple Syrup, our own farm fresh eggs, fresh milk from our dairy goats, Vermont Maple cured bacon and hand picked vegetables from the garden.
We offer cheese making classes using the milk from our dairy goats to create a rich and creamy Chevre Cheese, carriage rides down our Vermont country road and 25 undisturbed acres of woods for bird-watching and hiking and on clear crisp nights, millions of stars for gazing.
Close to Middlebury Vermont, Rutland Vermont, Brandon Vermont and Killington Vermont, we are centrally located to hundreds of local Vermont attractions all year long.
