4 x 750s of Inman Family OGV Estate Pinot Noirs - 2007, 2008, 2009 and pre-release 2010, which has already received 93 pts from Tanzer`s IWC, enthusiastic review form Rusty Gaffney the prince of pinot and John Haeger, author of North American Pinot Noir recently wrote this tasting note: "From the first vintage in 2003, Kathleen Inman, has produced wines of genuine elegance from the vines in her OGV vineyard, picking early enough to avoid overbearing alcohol, capturing floral aromas and red fruit flavors at their most engaging, producing wines of great transparency, fine structure, satiny texture and impressive potential. Without resort to added water, enzymes or re-acidification, but now relying in part on whole cluster fermentations, and taking advantage of vines that are now a bit older, her most recent vintages are even better. Russian River Valley Pinot Noir OGV 2010 (Inman Family) Luminous medium garnet; explosive nose of rose petal, summer savory and various hard spices; cherry, black raspberry and pomegranate on the palate; whole cluster fermentation and a cool growing season have enabled a wine of exceptional character and elegance that is simultaneously taut and approachable; extremely appealing now; and very promising for the long haul.
