Item Description

Enjoy 6 days and 5 nights on a 105 mile journey along the Blue River Trout Fishery on the Middle of the Form of the Salmon River for two with meals and beverages, river camp accomodations, hotel to river transfers, and guides.

Known as one of the premier wilderness rivers in the world, Idaho's Middle Fork of the Salmon is at the top of the list for both beginning river enthusiasts and seasoned river travelers alike. Idaho's Middle Fork of the Salmon has something for all ages and experience levels: spectacular scenery in one of the deepest river gorges in North America, crystal clear water, blue ribbon trout fishing for native Westslope cutthroat trout, numerous river side natural hotsprings, abundant wildlife viewing and both prehistoric and recent historic sites to explore.

Enjoy a lifetime experience on this blue ribbon catch and release river. Fishing gear changes depending on time of the season. Enjoy fishing daily for 6 days all day long fishing out of the boats and cast and wade fishing once you hit camp. Trip leaves out of Stanley, Idaho, and finishes in Salmon, Idaho. Transportation from your hotel to the river and back to hotel post trip is included. (Hotel in Stanley and hotel in Salmon) We recommend flying in and out of Boise, Idaho.

As we descend the Middle Fork from the start at Boundry Creek, we will drop almost 3000 feet in elevation to our take-out point just below the confluence with the Main Salmon River. Along the way we will stop to explore historic sites, soak in natural hot springs, fly fish and take in the natural beauty that surrounds us. A guide and helper will take off ahead of the main group each day in our large cargo boat, setting up tents and arranging our cooking and dinning area. As the main group travels between camps we will stop to explore points of interest and to enjoy a delectable made fresh river-side lunch. Once we arrive at our evening's camp-site the guides will help you get situated and some of them will start our evenings meal. Idaho River Adventures provides a modest amount of adult beverages and we always have fresh drinking water as well as drink mixes available.

*

The Middle Fork of the Salmon is a free- flowing, snow melt fed river that was designated as one of the first eight rivers under the Wild and Scenic River act by Congress and was signed into law in 1968. Since then, the Middle Fork of the Salmon has remained unchanged by man.

If you are desiring more adventure with bigger white water action, chose one of our earlier launch dates when the Middle Fork of the Salmon swells with the Spring run-off. By the end of June, the run off

has typically subsided and the main summer launches are ideal for families

Item Special Note
