Item Description
Hisago Restaurant was originally established in San Francisco's Nihonjin Machi (Japantown), on Buchanan Street, during the pre-war era. In the 1960's it was turned over to Paul & Yoneko Omai who ran Hisago until redevelopment razed what is now the Buchanan Mall. After decades, their grandson, Greg Hamaguchi has revived the Hisago name to serve authentic Japanese food on Geary Boulevard! It has quickly become a community favorite.
