Item Description
Issued in 1973 to commemorate the American Revolution by The National Museum of History and Technology this set contains 11 medals depicting historical events and figures that were instrumental in winning freedom from England. Struck in pewter these medals are a wonderful remembrance of our early years as a new country. Housed in its original portfolio of issue, the set includes a booklet that details the events shown on each medal. This collection would be of interest to collectors as well as anyone who has an interest in art or history.
