Item Description
This is your chance to win a part of Michigan history. This is a 12" x 18" photograph of the Michigan "winged" Helmet autographed by Fritz Crisler's main Mad Magician, former Michigan halfback and quarterback, the late Bob Chappuis. Chappuis led the team to an undefeated season and a 49-0 thrashing of USC in the Rose Bowl to win the National Championship on his way to an All American year, leading the league in offense and being named runner up for the Heisman Trophy that year. Chappuis outstanding college career also included a stint in the armed forces where his plane was shot down over Normandy. Here's a rare chance to own a piece of memorabilia signed by a true Michigan and American hero.

Proceeds from the auction of this item benefit the KAS Governor's Leadership Scholarship.
