SAMOMAYA is a French brand with an ethnic style inspired by the way of life of the local people living in the high plateaux of the Andes.
SAMOMAYA is an "éco-friendly" brand. We are careful to preserve and respect the local craftsmen. Our business produces a line of sweaters, jackets, wastecoats and hats, all hand-knitted and all made out of natural fibres which are naturally cultivated in the Andes.
We use materials like wool, cotton and Alpaka.
SAMOMAYA is also a make involved with the spirit of "Fair Trade". "To share to know" with our Andian parteners (dyers, knitters and sowers) an exchange with our European parteners, "in trust" with our clients. We offer you these unique products and the story has been written by the crafstmen themselves.
SAMOMAYA started in 1998. It was born out of a meeting between South American and European culture. Our products are comfortable for all ages.
