A weaving of the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom logo by Flenita Muniz '68.
" Thirty-five inches makes a tiny tapestry loom, on which to wave a favorite logo of Women's International League for Peace and Freedom. When I despair of a world driven by testosterone and green to amazing depths of brutality and violence; when I watch corporations, in their quest for power and profits, purloin our commons while they spread weapons of unbelievable destruction far and wide; when I look into the faces of our daughters and grandchildren; when I stand among hundreds of teens dedicated to creating justice and peace in their world---then I commit myself again to WILPF, knowing I have sisters on every continent working to bring peace and security to this hurting world. Weaving and WILPF...." - Flenita Muniz
