Item Description
Enjoy an exclusive stay at the Babson House which neighbors the Cheetah Conservation Fund headquarters and have the experience of staying in a private home at a conservation center. With cheetah ambassadors just steps away, guests will experience these graceful creatures up close.
The safari-chic style of Babson House draws its inspiration from 1940s era rustic lodges. Supple leathers, earthy finishes and authentic accents from local artisans lend to the welcoming atmosphere in the cozy converted farm house. There are two bedrooms, each with en-suite bathroom and another sleeping area that would serve for two children. A private chef is on hand to prepare all meals, served on the private veranda at lunch and in the intimate dining room at dinner. Guests will explore the CCF facilities and learn more about the history of the cheetah in the region. As one of Namibia’s leading organizations for cheetah conservation and rehabilitation, CCF is constantly caring for cheetahs and managing local outreach programs. At the center guests can watch cheetahs on their morning run and see them eat their lunch. Beyond the center, game drives to cheetah habitats and Herero villages are also possible.
Item Special Note
Offer includes two nights and three days at CCF's Babson House located near the Waterberg Plateau and Otjiwarongo in Namibia. The house comfortably accommodates four adults in two en-suite bedrooms and two children in another sleeping area. All meals are included along with planned cheetah activities. Airfare and additional travel arrangements are not included. Offer expires December 31, 2015 and subject to availability.
