Item Description
Improve your trout fishing success with these 29 original dry flies donated by renowned southern Wisconsin fly tier Dr. John Gribb, whose artistic tying innovation was featured in Trout Unlimited’s national “Trout” magazine. These flies feature some of John’s most unique fly tying components and techniques you’ll be hard-pressed to find replicated anywhere else—parachute posts made from seat belt fibers, 90 degree bent hook shanks that increase hook-ups, tail fibers from holographic ribbons, and highly-buoyant Razor Foam. These flies are John’s original “SB Mayfly” extended-body foam dry fly pattern, tied in various colors, and ranging from hook sizes 12-20.
The seasoned anglers who successfully fish these flies attest that they will catch you fish—even finicky spring creek browns—just about anywhere you might fish them. Don’t pass up a chance to catch more trout, with a truly one-of-a-kind fly pattern!
