Enjoy a delicious all-organic lunch right on the farm, prepared by Earthbound Farm's executive chef Sarah LaCasse. Before the lunch, discover the beauty of their farm and gardens (including an herb garden, kitchen garden, heirloom berry patch, kids' garden and aroma therapy labyrinth) with Janna Jo Williams, Earthbound's knowledgeable and inspiring garden and event manager. The farm stand, now in its 21st year, is just down the road from Earthbound’s original backyard garden, and it features one of the few 100% certified organic kitchens in the country. Let us share our love of organic food and farming with you.
Earthbound Farms and its founders Drew and Myra Goodman have created a uniquely American success story. Described by Michael Pollan as "representing industrial organic farming at its best," Drew and Myra started in 1984 as recent college graduates with no farming experience whatsoever tending a raspberry farm in exchange for free rent to, behind what would become its signature product, bagged organic salad mixes, being a company with $460 million in annual revenue. Almost singlehandedly responsible for bringing organics to mainstream agriculture, Earthbound now farms almost 30,000 acres in the United States and abroad, and is the source for nearly 70% of organic greens grown in America.
