Item Description
One of the most recognizable folk bunads of Norway, the Telemark costume is done in rich shades of intense red-orange with black. All the intricate details from the embroidered shirt to the silver shoe buckles are authentic to this bunad. The tapestry behind the girl is depicting a royal hunting scene.
The frame is 1" wide with a double white mat. The framed print measures 13" x 18".
Item Special Note
The artist, Shaon Aamodt is the granddaughter of Norwegian and Swedish immigrants. Although the subject is traditional, the artwork is done in a very contemporay style. Sharon has won numerous awards for her work. She is happy to connect people with their heritage through her artwork.
