Item Description
This intricate traditional Hardanger Lace piece will make an elegant addition to your dining or coffee table. Hardanger Lace is originally from the Hardanger Valley on the Western side of Norway in fjord country. The cutwork is precise and lovingly crafted. It measures 10 1/2" x 10 1/2" and is done white on white on traditional linen Hardanger cloth. A true keepsake.
Item Special Note
Hardanger lace is also seen as insets on the aprons in the bunads from this area and on liturgical stoles and baptismal gowns. Pieces like these are handed down through the generations.
