Item Description
Salvador Romero - Cochiti Pueblo - Carver and Sculptor
This is a Lobo Treasure!
Salvador Romero's carvings from stones he finds at his
native Cochiti embody the power of original found Pueblo fetishes thought to be the spirits of animals imprisoned in rocks. Salvador says each carving is already there in the rock waiting for him to release it. His creations are widely acclaimed as small sculptures, and several have been cast in bronze.
Item Special Note
This is a small sculpture - about 3 1/2 inches diameter. It fits nicely in the palm of your hand as this Lobo snuggles down for a nap.
