Item Description

This is a rare opportunity to own an exquisite, one of a kind, beaded cuff by renowned artist Todd LoneDog Bordeaux.  Created using northern style plains peyote stitch bead work on leather, surrounding a 132 carat Turquoise stone from the Lone Mountain mine.

Todd Bordeaux was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota and is of German, Polish, and Sicangu Lakota heritage. He lives and creates on the Rosebud Sioux Reservation on the same homestead where his father, grandparents, great grandparents, and great great grandparents lived. Bordeaux states that art has changed his life, and since starting his fine art career at age 30 he has won 50 major awards in juried shows, including the prestigious Harrison Eiteljorg Purchase Award in 2012.

To see more of Todd's work, please come visit LoneDog NoiseCat Gallery - Santa Fe's newest Native American/First Nations-owned art gallery, featuring the most talented and fearless Native sculptors, jewelers, painters, printmakers, and other artists in the Southwest and beyond.

Ed Archie NoiseCat and Todd LoneDog Bordeaux had been showing their art  for over a decade together from Seattle to Indianapolis to Phoenix and Santa Fe. As their paths crossed and their friendship grew, so did their outlook on marketing and show ideas. The seed for a Native American/First Nations gallery formulated when the artists met at the Eiteljorg Museum in June 2013. Seven days later, they had the lease to 241 Delgado street in Santa Fe NM.
