Mim Brooks Fawcett is the Executive Director of the Attleboro Arts Museum.  She has received training at NYC’s Art Student’s League, holds her BA in Graphic Design and Cinema from Binghamton University, and has also received an MFA in Graphic Design from BU.  Her fine art has been shown in Boston area galleries and examples of her graphic design are found in the Attleboro Arts Museum’s communications portfolio.

An oppressive heat wave consumed New England this past summer.  This mighty force took over the region – and drove me to commemorate its unforgettable impact with the creation of this work.
