Linda Pearlman Karlsberg earned her BFA & MFA at BU College for the Arts and taught at BU, The Art Institute and other area colleges. Her artwork has received numerous awards and she has exhibited widely at galleries, universities, and museums throughout the US including Attleboro Art Museum’s 8 Visions.

In each figure drawing I wrestle with the forms, proportions, movement and gesture, chiaroscuro. The delight arises from the dialogue between the visual experience and my working process. I accumulate marks that arise out of observation and intuition; articulate rhythms through line and value, describe planes that become the flesh, the musculature and bone below. Light form and a record of seeing.
