Item Description
Oil on canvas board
20" x 24"
Marian Wrightington paints with her heart and things that she loves. Coming from a long line of New Englanders, she sometimes feels that she is part of an earlier era. She prefers older styles that suit her historic home and preserve her heritage. She has exhibited in the Attleboro Arts Museum’s annual Members’ and Flower Show exhibitions.
Item Description:
This 20" x 24" oil on canvas board is one of my favorite Fall scenes. Cranberry bogs are nature's gems in New England. The natural, colorful beauty of a bog, ready for harvest, is so bright and lively, but also seems peaceful. Complete with a bog house, the late sunset just seems to make the colors glow. The piece is framed in wood with red and gold accents.
