Item Description

Bid now on this certificate for $100 worth of tickets to performances at Cain Park!

Conceived in the mid 1930s, Cain Park is rich in history. The brainchild of Heights High School drama teacher Dr. Dina Rees Evans and Cleveland Heights Mayor Frank Cain, Cain Park's original purpose remains unaltered. Owned and operated by the City of Cleveland Heights, it is the living symbol of the City's commitment to nurturing quality programming in the arts for an area population that undeniably thrives on it.

No ordinary City park, Cain Park begins where most leave off: an outdoor, intimate, covered theater similar to a mid-sized off-Broadway space (Alma Theater); an outdoor covered amphitheater (Evans Amphitheater); an air-conditioned art gallery (Audrey & Harvey Feinberg Art Gallery), and outstanding programming that includes professional theatrical productions, a nationally recognized Arts Festival, cabaret series, professional dance companies, children's programming, and concerts featuring national, regional, and local performers, surrounded by 22 acres of bicycle and jogging paths, tennis and basketball courts, a splash park, playground, skate park, and picnic areas.

The Cain Park Ticket Office opens for Cleveland Heights residents at the end of May 2014. For events check the Season Calendar at http://www.cainpark.com/ to be available in spring 2014.
