The gold ribbon perfectly trims the beautiful dogwood design is a classic example of work completed by nationally acclaimed Marti Tetler. Specially made for the Penguin Rep auction, this piece is dated and signed April of 2013. Although it is valued at $150, you are no longer able to acquire her work, as Marti retired a few years ago. Take advantage of this rare and perfect example of the craft and art.

Marti Tetler began making lampshades in 1976, and opened her own studio within a year. Since then she has studied Early American Decoration and Theorem Painting, and is a Brazer Guild Member of the Historical Society of Early American Decoration. She brings over 30 years’ experience to her teaching and craft. She has taught at craft schools, historical and preservation societies, adult education programs, and for private groups. She is the author of Marti's Lampshade Book, your guide to making your own shades. She is a master of cut - and - pierced lampshades and teacher of the craft and Trustee of The Historical Society of Early American Decoration.
