Everyone, whether young or old, healthy or not so healthy, traveling or staying close to home, needs an estate plan.
In this way, we can empower the right person to take care of our finances and assets if we are alive, but not available to do this for ourselves; to make healthcare decisions for us when we can not make them for ourselves; and to distribute our assets when have passed on, or administer our assets for our children, should we leave children behind. Attorney Jenny Burch, of Weiss Law Office, will meet with the winning bidder* and discuss your estate planning goals. Then, according to your wishes, she will prepare and assist you in the execution of a simple Maine estate plan for yourself and your partner.
These simple estate plans will include:
- Two simple Wills (with children's trusts if necessary),
- Two Advance Health Care Directives, and
- Two Durable Powers of Attorney.
*The winning bidder should be a Maine resident couple (regardless of marital status or gender), and have a combined estate valued at less than $2 million.
