Item Description

18 inch Chartres Maple Finger
Labyrinth
   A wonderful tool for, meditation,
personal enjoyment, devotions, or as an enhancement to any decor.
Our artisans use modern technology,
hand-sanding and old-fashioned loving obsession-to-detail,  to create the most accurate replications of the Chartres labyrinth available.  These hardwood Chartres Labyrinths include al the  details and geometry of the original Labyrinth laid in the floor of Chartres Cathedral. France in 1201 AD.

Proper proportions include the outer lunations, and the authentic six-petaled center rosette with trefoils separating the petals.  We hand-sand the wood, then finish the labyrinth with a clear smooth satin finish allowing the natural wood grain to show through!
Paxworks has been making precise Chartres finger labyrinths over ten years and has earned a reputation for unsurpassed quality.

These Hardwoods are selected for their  natural beauty and charm, which include subtle color and grain ariations that enhance its warmth, assuring that your Paxworks hardwood labyrinth will truly be unique in all creation.

Item Special Note

Maple is the lightest, and most consistent in color and grain
of the hardwoods we offer.  It is often found in kitchens on cabinet and drawer fronts.  It makes me think of a hot stack of pancakes on a frosty winter morning, smothered, of course, in genuine Maple syrup. Maple is a basic cream or ivory color with minimal grain. It captures light and brightens space!.
