John Auge, Creative, Auge+Gray Collective Works
An innovative designer and skillful artist, John specializes in corporate communications, branding and identity which includes a career spanning over three decades of service to clients both statewide and nationally.
Always ready to support great non-profit organizations, he has gifted his talents over many years to the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra and the West Virginia Youth Symphony. Most notable is the iconic “Watermelon Man” (Melonious), the 25 year-old symbol for the annual Symphony Sunday event. His first violin painting hangs in the green room at the Clay Center.
Recently he served as the creative director for the West Virginia 150 Birthday Celebration. John created the official event graphics and also provided direction and consultation for the 3D video presentation.
With his business partner Steve Gray, John creates at Auge+Gray Collective Works, assisting clients with design-centric branding and marketing that is awe-inspiring and award winning…and loves every minute of the craft!
