Item Description

Grand Marquis is offering a 1 1/2 hour private concert to the winner of this auction. You will be delighted by their jazz and blues music at the MCA live auction on November 9th, and won't want to miss this opportunity to bid on your own personal concert. This music session would be perfect for a wedding, birthday party, anniversary party, company party, or any special celebration where great music is needed!

Grand Marquis features MCA parent Bryan Redmond on lead vocals; soprano, alto, tenor & baritone saxophones.

The band personifies a distinct and hearty blend of American Roots musical influences: blues and prohibition-era jazz; weaving old stories in with new tales for the 21st Century. This quintet uses a diverse array of instruments (from sousaphone, trumpet and saxophones to washboard, drums, upright bass and slide guitar) to present their original musical narratives while putting a new twist on time-honored classics. Since 1998 they have performed at more than 1600 shows across the US to audiences young and old, mainly in the Midwest where they call Kansas City home. Their 2013 recording "Blues and Trouble" is charting nationally in the top 10 Roots Radio and they are excited to be a part of the MCA Auction. Go to http://grandmarquis.net/ to find out more!
