The Curator of Collections, Ruth Osborne, will provide a VIP behind-the-scenes tour of the Mount Vernon Hotel Museum. Guests will be guided through the period rooms by the Curator as she shares insights on the collection, its history, and how it is presented today.
The Mount Vernon Hotel Museum & Garden, one of the 8 oldest buildings in Manhattan, houses period rooms that interpret life at a country day hotel during a time of tremendous social, urban, and commercial growth in 1820s and 30s New York. MVHM's story is one of travel, leisure, work, and play in Jacksonian America.
