Item Description

The Blue Horse Inn is uniquely situated in Woodstock Village.

Built in 1831 by Joel Eaton, the House at 3 Church Street has seen many incarnations. It is rumored to have been a stop on the Underground Railroad and local lore has it that General Lafayette may have slept here.

Operating as an Inn since the 1990’s, our sweeping grounds overlook the Ottauquechee River and Mt. Tom, and guests can enjoy our heated outdoor pool or a leisurely game of bocce. On a chilly day, relax in the wood-fired hot tub or by the fire in one of our inviting common spaces. Overlooking the idyllic waterfall of the Ottauquechee River, Simon Pearce offers award-wining American cuisine featuring local ingredients and a global wine list amongst rustic charm and simple elegance of the quintessential Vermont pastoral.

Be sure not to miss a trip to our glassblower’s studio.

Valid for one deluxe room night for two guests at The Blue Horse Inn, Woodstock, VT, and dinner for two (exclusive of prix-fixe menus, alcohol, tax and gratuity) at Simon Pearce Restaurant, The Mill, Quechee, VT (reservations required).
