Model Chair Kit by Gerrit Thomas Rietveld
Gerrit Thomas Rietveld (1888–1964) was a Dutch furniture designer and is famous for his Red and Blue Chair, which is housed in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art. The chair was designed in 1918 and made of laquered wood. It is part of the Dutch artistic movement called De Stijl.
This model kit (scale 1:6) was produced in 1983. The kit is unopened and ready for a modern furniture lover to create a miniature of this famous chair.
