ALEX MARGOLIN - Head Coach / Owner of Sun Valley CROSSFIT
Alex is a trainer with over 27 years of experience. He was voted Top Trainer in the San Francisco Bay Area by the San Francisco Chronicle prior to moving to Idaho. Alex worked as a Junior National Team Winter Biathlon Coach in 1992 and was the Junior Biathlon Team Therapist for the 2002 and 2003 seasons. He was the personal strength and conditioning coach for 4 time US National Cycling Champion and has worked as a team therapist for Tour De France Cycling Teams in 2005 and 2006. He holds a BS Degree in Physical Education from University of Oregon and did post graduate studies for a year at the Norwegian University of Physical Education and Sport. He holds a coaching certification in Cross Country Skiing from the Norwegian Ski association. Alex has four certifications in Active Release Techniques (ART), a highly effective form of myofascial bodywork therapy remedies orthopedic problems of a connective tissue origin.
With his years of experience teaching and developing people to achieve their highest levels of performance and his personal understanding of what it takes to heal injuries and stay injury free, Alex leverages his past proven successes in strength and conditioning, and bodywork to help people attain results that exceed their expectations.
