Item Description
Play-i is making computer science fun and accessible for children ages 5 and up. They are making robots that teach the logic behind programming in a hands-on, experiential way. Play-i is launching its first two robots, Bo & Yana, designed to engage children and they use music, storytelling, animation, puppeteering and games as the language of programming. Bo and Yana are fully programmable robots using touch devices. This donation includes an in-home demo by the Play-i team. The Play-i team will also help you design your very own, custom accessory for your robot that can be 3-d printed and used with the robots.
Item Special Note
Contact donor to order robots. Robots will be available for pre-purchase later this year and are expected to be ready to ship sometime next year. (http://play-i.com)
