Dan Finamore, The Russell W. Knight Curator of Maritime Art and History, will provide insight into this extensive examination of J.M.W. Turner’s lifelong fascination with the sea, from his transformative Academy paintings of the late 1790s and early 1800s to his experimental seascapes created toward the end of his life. Following this very special tour, enjoy a mouthwatering dinner inspired by the delicacies of the sea, prepared and generously donated by The Catered Affair.
