Jordan grew up in Salt Lake City, UT spending most of his time hiking, skateboarding, snowboarding, rock climbing, and mountain biking. He moved to Hailey, ID in 2000 to work as an arborist. He has been climbing trees recreationally, competitively, and professionally for 13 years. His objective as a CrossFit trainer is to provide a whole body wellness not just a workout. His passion for this fitness program is contagious!

Boulder Mountain CrossFit is a full-service strength and conditioning facility dedicated to excellent and inclusive service, quality coaching, and furnishing a high quality, fun, clean, enjoyable gym atmosphere at an exceptional price. We are located in downtown Hailey, ID, only 10 miles from Sun Valley and Ketchum.

CrossFit is a strength and conditioning program that includes “constantly varied, high intensity, functional movement,” with the stated goal of improving fitness (and there for general physical preparedness).  Workouts are typically short—20 minutes or less—and intense, demanding all-out physical exertion. They combine movements such as sprinting, rowing, jumping rope, climbing rope, weightlifting, and carrying odd objects; they use barbells,dumbbells, gymnastics rings, pull-up bars, kettlebells, medicine balls, and many bodyweight exercises. These elements are mixed in numerous combinations to form prescribed “Workouts of the Day” or “WODs”.  CrossFit classes are one-hour long and include a warm-up, a skill development segment, the high-intensity WOD, and a period of individual or group stretching.

 

Boulder Mountain CrossFit not a typical “gym” that you walk into and use on your own. Our members come in for scheduled sessions when our coaches are leading the workout. The environment and community that exists within the coached classes allows people of any age or experience to have fun and gain results that were once thought not to be possible. We offer 4-5 classes per day, and you can come to any class that fits into your schedule.
