Item Description
14"x18" framed (12"x16" unframed print) pen and ink print of a three-deer herd in a snowy pasture with a mountain and barn backdrop by New Hampshire artist Gene Matras. Matras' prints are produced from his original drawings by an offset lithography process and are limited editions signed and numbered by the artist.
Matras uses pen & ink to create stark contrasts of black and white to create artwork Inspired by natural scenes, wildlife, farms and other rural subjects. Living in rural NH, he is surrounded by subject matter for his drawings. Gene has acquired much recognition, praise and awards throughout New England. His drawings hang in collections in the U.S. and many other countries.
