Item Description

This is not your ordinary glimpse of Monument Valley as there is the human/equine addition which gives the viewer a sense of place, space and proportion.  Handsomely matted and framed, this photograph is one of the iconic images that is associated with our southwest landscape and it could be part of your own visual landscape for the winning bid. The framed dimensions are  13" x 16.5" and image is approximately 7.75" x 9.75" in size. Image taken in Monument Valley, UT in May 2013.  

Ms. Bauer specializes in structures, flowers, animals and landscapes as she travels in the southwest area of the country.  She markets 8x10 photos, greeting cards and have just begun putting her artwork on T-shirts through special orders.

Want to see more of her work? She will be at several Arts and Crafts Fairs in the Albuquerque Area:  Cleveland Middle School on November 9, North Domingo Baca on November 16, Sandia High School on November 23 and the Albuquerque Garden Center (Juried) on December 6 and 7.

An Albuquerque resident since she was five, she earned a degree in Elementary Education from UNM. She is a big fan of the Home of Happy Feet on Tuesday nights on KUNM. Ms. Bauer has been a long-time volunteer during KUNM pledge drives on behalf of Albuquerque Folk Festival.  She has been involved in the Folk Fest since its inception and for which she currently serves on the board.

Terms For Pickup or Delivery of Items:

• The winner of each auction lot will receive an e-mail following the completion of the auction on November 21, 2013.

• Winning bidders are asked to respond to this e-mail and must do so by 12 p.m. MDT, November 22, to confirm their winning bid on the item(s) in the auction lot.

• The winners of each auction have the option of picking up their item(s) at designated pickup locations in Albuquerque and Santa Fe. Details on these pickup locations will be communicated to winning bidders.

• Winning bidders also have the option of having their item(s) shipped to them at additional cost. Gift certificates can be mailed for a flat shipping and handling fee of $5. Any other item type can be shipped to the winning bidder at actual shipping cost, including insurance, for that particular item.
