Item Description
Looking for a live musical performance for your wedding, wine tasting fundraiser, kids' birthday party, or other social event? Then stop looking and bid on this evening or afternoon performance of acoustic guitar by singer/songwriter Karl Thor of SHMaK and Eye d’Neau.
Karl has 30+ years of performing, at venues ranging from dive bars to weddings, wine and cheese gatherings, and the annual meetings at the Sheraton Imperial. Karl is also a regular at the Western Wake Farmers’ Market, where it is not at all unusual to have children joining him at the mic singing and/or playing percussion instruments that he provides.
Karl's musical repertoire is an eclectic mix of typical acoustic rock tunes from the 50’s to the 00’s with some country, jazz, and originals thrown in according to the perceived tastes of the audience. For example, acoustic versions of Jimi Hendrix, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones, Beatles, etc. maintain the interests of most rockers and guitar aficionados without “blasting out the old folks”, while Willie Nelson, Alison Kraus, Dierks Bentley, and Marty Robbins provide some “old school” country standards.
Item Special Note
Karl will play for at least three hours with ten minute breaks between each one hour set in Wake, Durham, or Chatham County on a weekend evening or afternoon on a mutually agreed upon date. Venues outside these counties would require negotiations and travel expenses.
