The winning bidder for this plate is going to be the envy of Seattle Seahawks fans everywhere! Not only is Plate 00003 one of the first Seahawks license plates to be issued, it happens to be the jersey number worn by Russell Wilson – a guy who’s quickly become one of the National Football League’s elite quarterbacks.

Wilson is in good company wearing the #3 (as you probably remember it was also worn by Josh Brown, John Leypoldt, Rick Donnelly, and others). We can’t promise that these license plates will make you or your vehicle as quick or as nimble as Wilson…but we bet it will be a lot more fun to drive around town if you’re sporting Plate 00003!

The plate design features the Seahawks logo, an image of the iconic 12^th Man flag, and “00003” in black lettering. 

By supporting your favorite football team, you’ll also be supporting students in need. The net proceeds from the sales of Seahawks license plates will benefit InvestED, a Seattle-based nonprofit that partners with schools statewide to help students from low-income families pay for clothes, school activity cards, sports equipment, academic fees, and other student needs.  

Item Special Note

Please read these important requirements and limitations:

1.  This plate can only be used on a vehicle that uses a front and rear plate; the first 25 plates cannot be used on motorcycles, trailers, etc.

2.  If you are the winning bidder you will be required to provide InvestED with the name of the registered owner, the license plate number, the VIN and the address at which the vehicle is registered no later than Thursday, November 21, 2013.  To expedite the transaction make sure your correct address is on file with the Washington Department of Licensing.  FAILURE TO DO SO MAY FORFEIT YOUR RIGHT TO CLAIM THIS ITEM AND INVESTED RESERVES THE RIGHT TO OFFER THE PLATE TO THE NEXT HIGHEST BIDDER.

3.  If you are the winning bidder, once the vehicle registration information is confirmed with the Department of Licensing and all is in order you will be required to provide a check in the correct amount for your registration (taking into account renewal date, county of registration, cost of the special plate, etc) made payable to the Department of Licensing to InvestED no later than December 6, 2013.  DUE TO THE UNIQUE NATURE OF THIS ITEM THERE WILL BE NO RETURNS OR REFUNDS.

4.  Your plates will be shipped to you from the Department of Licensing after January 2, 2014.

5. THANK YOU FOR BIDDING ON THIS ITEM.  If you are the winning bidder the amount you paid for the right to acquire the specific plate will be considered a charitable donation to InvestED and we will provide you a tax receipt.
