Item Description
Book three-time Grammy nominated singer-songwriter Zenobia for your next house party! Zenobia has been performing in Santa Fe (and Albuquerque) since arriving in New Mexico. She will perform solo at your house party in Albuquerque or Santa Fe, or within a 54 mile radius of Albuquerque. The performance date must be pre-arranged on a date when she is not already booked with her band.
Zenobia began her singing career in the church choir in Los Angeles where she taught herself to play the piano at 5 years old. She wrote her first song at the age of 9 and taught herself how to play the guitar – left-handed-upside-down, just like Jimi Hendrix did.
Immediately out of high school, Zenobia landed a role in the Los Angeles company of the rock musical, “HAIR,” and was sent to New York for her Broadway debut.
As a studio backup singer, Zenobia sang for Jane Olivor, Julie Budd, Gene Pitney, Mott the Hoople and is one of the original Weather Girls featured in the disco hit, “It’s Raining Men” written by Paul Shaffer & Paul Jabara. Recording artists Leon Ware, The Ritchie Family and Platinum Hook have recorded her songs. Co-writers have been Carol Bayer Sager, Marti Sharron, Lisa Ratner, Denise Rich and James (D-Train) Williams.
While in New York, Zenobia produced singers Patti Austin, Valerie Simpson (Ashford & Simpson), Lou Rawles, Michael Bolton and Busta Rhymes as a producer in advertising. She had also produced two 12” charted singles for Streetwise Records, Rockers Revenge's “Living for the Weekend” and her own “In The Night."
In her debut CD, “Home”, Zenobia utilizes her skills as composer, arranger and instrumentalist in this tribute to her deep love of music. Grammy nominee for Best New Artist, Best Pop Instrumental Performance (Little Buddah) and Best Instrumental Composition (Sandalwood), she offers up a unique blend of musical combinations that have inspired her through the years.
Zenobia is in the studio now recording a CD with her music partner, Jay Boy Adams, featuring Americana, Blues & R&B music--and her CD which includes original Gospel songs.

Terms For Pickup or Delivery of Items:
- The winner of each auction lot will receive an e-mail following the completion of the auction on November 21, 2013.
- Winning bidders are asked to respond to this e-mail and must do so by 12 p.m. MDT, November 22, to confirm their winning bid on the item(s) in the auction lot.
- The winners of each auction have the option of picking up their item(s) at designated pickup locations in Albuquerque and Santa Fe. Details on these pickup locations will be communicated to winning bidders.
- Winning bidders also have the option of having their item(s) shipped to them at additional cost. Gift certificates can be mailed for a flat shipping and handling fee of $5. Any other item type can be shipped to the winning bidder at actual shipping cost, including insurance, for that particular item.
