If you are a fan of David Barsamian's Alternative Radio or if you know someone who is, here's the great opportunity to own their entire 27th season plus the first seven programs of the 28th season on one flash drive!  Be sure to link to their website to check out the programs for both seasons.

Along with all of the above, if you can make your way to Boulder, Alternative Radio is offering you a tour of their “headquarters” and lunch with David Barsamian.  Here‘s the description of the Alternative Radio Tour as provided by the good folks at AR:

 When passing through Boulder, Colorado drop by AR’s Corporate Headquarters.  Our 400 square foot penthouse office has 3 and a half-rooms, including the AR Archive showroom.  See computers, printers, CD burners and other exotic equipment. We even have cassettes. Old enough to remember those? Our staff of 3 can lead you past the mail desk, where David Barsamian writes notes to listeners 20^th century style and skillfully manages the Pitney Bowes postage meter.  Watch and wonder at Gavin Dahl perform the thousand-armed Shiva, taking calls, orders, texting, pitching to new radio stations, while editor Joe Richey vacuums verbal crutches from the speeches of the best minds of our generation.

 Buses leave hourly. Book in advance as there is a constant avalanche of visitors who want to see one of the wonders of the media world. We wouldn’t want you to miss the tour.

Sounds tempting, doesn’t it? David  Barsamian is one of America's most tireless and wide-ranging investigative journalists. He has altered the independent media landscape, both with his weekly radio show Alternative Radio - now in its 28th year- and his books with Noam Chomsky, Howard Zinn, Tariq Ali, Arundhati Roy and Edward Said.

What an amazing opportunity to meet, have lunch and talk with David Barsamian. 

 Please know you will have to provide your own transportation and arrange a date that works for both you and David with the Alternative Radio staff.

Terms For Pickup or Delivery of Items:

• The winner of each auction lot will receive an e-mail following the completion of the auction on November 21, 2013.

• Winning bidders are asked to respond to this e-mail and must do so by 12 p.m. MDT, November 22, to confirm their winning bid on the item(s) in the auction lot.

• The winners of each auction have the option of picking up their item(s) at designated pickup locations in Albuquerque and Santa Fe. Details on these pickup locations will be communicated to winning bidders.

• Winning bidders also have the option of having their item(s) shipped to them at additional cost. Gift certificates can be mailed for a flat shipping and handling fee of $5. Any other item type can be shipped to the winning bidder at actual shipping cost, including insurance, for that particular item.
