At Joanne Lee Photography we are all about the PROCESS and the PRODUCT. I believe the process of creating fine portraiture should be as enjoyable as the resulting portrait you will hang in your home. Our portrait sessions are relaxed and fun! Capturing someone’s authentic self….that’s what I do. That task would be nearly impossible, if someone were uncomfortable during the session.

From Joanne:

Prior to owning Joanne Lee Photography, I was a teacher….a music teacher. I’ve taught every grade from Kindergarten through twelfth grade. I adore children, I adore PEOPLE! My background in education has given me a tremendous ability to connect with the people I photograph. I especially love interacting with children during a session! One of the best examples of this, occurred one day after a portrait session with young child. The session had ended, and the mom was gathering her things. The boy looked at me and asked “Aren’t you going to take any pictures?” I smiled and said “I already did.” We had so much fun interacting that he barely noticed as I was capturing his many smiles.

It’s my ability to connect with people that brings such diversity to my work. From photographing multi-generational portraits, to newborns, and children with special needs, I bring a love of people and a passion for creating memories that will last a lifetime.
