Item Description
Is that your garden we hear calling for a redesign? Are you in a new yard and have little idea what is already growing there? Would you like some advice on what to grow to make your life a little easier? Or would just you enjoy discussing the opinions and observations of an experienced (and very practical) fellow gardener as you walk through your yard, perhaps a glass of wine in hand? If so, we have an auction item just for you!
Amanda Davis gardens an acre of Monona that includes fruits and vegetables, extensive planting of shrubs and trees for birds and wildlife, a restored prairie, and a variety of semi-private spaces. Her work even inspired the establishment of community gardens right next door!
If you place the winning bid, Amanda will come to your yard/lot/garden/sanctuary or other space and walk it with you. If you like she'll even bring a bottle of wine to share (cared for by her loyal Sherpa assistant/husband.) Conversation will lead to ideas and ideas might lead to some suggested plantings or rough design. She'll work to help you develop ideas of your own, focusing on the inspirations you have for your garden.
Item Special Note
Arrangements for date and time are by mutual agreement. If you are more than 50 miles from Madison, that might take a little longer, but don't let that stop you, go ahead and bid!
