About Lee Scher, L.P.C.
I was born in rural Maryland and grew up on the East Coast. I received a masters degree in Contemplative Counseling Psychology at Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado, and have studied Rogerian Psychotherapy, Somatic Psychotherapy, Jungian Psychology, Buddhist Psychology and meditation extensively.
I am a student of Jungian Psychology and Shambhala Buddhism, and in accord with those traditions I believe that wisdom is not the property of any one tradition, but is a natural birthright of human beings. I am open to the insights of all wisdom traditions- including science and western psychology.
