Item Description

Keep a tradition alive!  This attractive platter in the popular Coronation pattern was a family favorite and needs a new table to adorn.

Coronation, a silverplate pattern, was introduced by Community (now Oneida) in 1936 to commemorate the crowning of Edward VIII of England. Due to his abdication, this event never took place. Coronation has been a highly successful pattern in the U.S. A number of hollow ware pieces were produced in the early years and are rather scarce today.

Details: 18 3/4" x 12".  "COMMUNITY, Coronation, 2nd " on back.  Scratched from use.
