Item Description
This winter is a special time at the wildest place in Oregon. The museum turns 125 and Lily the Elephant is celebrating her first birthday. A visit to the 64-acre zoo in a woodland setting is a quintessential Portland experience. Main exhibit areas are Asia, Fragile Forests, Africa, The Great Northwest, and Botanical Gardens. While you're there, take a ride on the zoo train. Endorsed by NRWA's Communication Manager, Wynne, who visited both as a child and as an adult--fabulous memories of those outings!
