Item Description
Vintage Bulldog Bracelet. Love, love, love this celluloid plastic bulldog charm, all hand-painted and marked JAPAN, with a "Y" on his side for "Yale". The charm was made before WW II, in the late 1930s, and was intended to be hung from school/college pins, etc. The bulldog is Yale's mascot. The bulldog charm measures 1-1/4" across by 1" high. The vintage faux pearls have tiny vintage bead caps. There are two kinds of vintage blue beads, one a matte finish blueberry bead and one from the Czech Republic. The vintage oval lucite drops are in a brass channel setting. The charm bracelet is assembled with vintage brass/copper jump rings on vintage curb chain. The bracelet is approx. 7-3/4" in length. The clasp is a shepherd's crook and if you want it shorter, just hook it on any link you want and the excess chain and beads will dangle like an additional charm.
